DOUBLE-TOP CONSTRUCTION

Double-top construction consists of two thin master-grade tonewood “skins” bonded to a Nomex® honeycomb core. The hexagonal structure of the core provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, resulting in a top of the same thickness as a solid top, but with considerably less mass and more strength.
